This logo project aimed to create awareness of the lack of childcare and early education options for families of Douglas County. The client asked for a logo that was vibrant, child-friendly and memorable to help spread the word.

Rounds of Revision
To begin, I paired down a list of taglines generated by our team and the client. Each phrase seemed to have its own unique feeling and tone, which I used to guide my design decisions.
This project was a fun exercise in balancing minimal imagery with a more dominant, type-driven message.
With nine directions solidified, we noticed that some of the logos focused on the negative, "crisis" aspect of the campaign, while others focused on positive, future improvement. Pointing this out to the client helped them weigh the options and choose a direction that aligned with their ultimate goal.

After iterating on color and scale, this mark was chosen for its optimism and focus on a brighter future.
